Foundations was named one of the Top Ten Green Building
Products in 2002 by Green Spec, an affiliate of Environmental
Building News, and has been featured in several magazine articles,
such as Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Environmental
Building News, NW Builder Magazine, and Professional Deck
Builder.

Foundations is a low impact, no excavation foundation system
that was originally designed by Richard Gagliano for boardwalks in
sensitive areas and wetlands. Its uses have expanded to include
decks and residential perimeter footings. Projects have been built
in all parts of the United States and Japan for the past 15 years,
and include many USFWS, US Forest Service, National Park Service,
and Washington State Parks project installations.
